Inside the heart of Sagittarius the Hunter
by 5ocietyx
‘His heart is heart-shaped Isabella Plantation, just where it should be, and blood-red with rhododendrons and azaleas in spring.’ – Kingston Zodiac, Mary Caine.
According to Mary Caine Richmond Park forms the star-sign Sagittarius the hunter and is part of a vast holographic zodiac over-layed onto West London and the outskirts.
Although blood-red is the signature colour of the plantation it is in fact an explosion of colour that photographs can’t really do justice to.

Still pond, Isabella Plantation, Richmond Park
Still pond is the heart of the heart of Sagittarius and a precious jewel on the outskirts of London. A sacred site with intense yet rejuvenating energy and peace best visited in April-May.
I’ll be a park, and thou shalt be my deer;
Feed where thou wilt, on mountain or in dale:
Graze on my lips; and if those hills be dry,
Stray lower, where the pleasant fountains lie.
Venus and Adonis, William Shakespeare

Grazie kikke, hopefully the slide-show worked for you as there are more fotos in the post of this magical place.
Some gorgeous pictures there, and yes, the slide show does work. Beautiful colours.
But why whenever I hear about Richmond Park these days does the name Fenton always come to mind I wonder……
Thanks Carol, funnily enough that popped into my mind too all by its own!
